Video
Embed a video with an optional heading and text above it. Works with YouTube, Vimeo, and videos you upload to Shopify.
What it looks like
Here's the video section alongside its settings in the theme editor. The left panel shows the settings you'll see in Customize, and the right shows the result on your storefront.

| Color scheme | Picks which set of colors to use for this section |
| Video URL | Paste a YouTube or Vimeo link here |
| Shopify video | Or pick a video you've uploaded to Shopify instead |
| Cover image | An optional image for the video area |
| Heading | A title above the video |
| Text | A short description below the heading |
| Full width | Lets the video span the full band instead of the page width |
| Autoplay | Starts the video automatically and muted, where the browser allows it (Shopify-hosted video only) |
| Loop | Replays the video from the start when it ends (Shopify-hosted video only) |
Blocks
This section does not use blocks.
Tips
- For background-style videos (no audio, atmospheric), turn on autoplay and loop. For product demos or tutorials, leave autoplay off so visitors choose when to watch.
