Appearance
Promo Tiles
A grid of promotional image cards, each linking to a collection, product, or page. Great for highlighting categories or seasonal campaigns.
What it looks like
Here's the Promo Tiles section alongside its settings in the theme editor. The left panel shows the settings you'll see in Customize, and the right shows the result on your storefront.

Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Color scheme | Picks which set of colors to use for this section |
| Heading | A title that appears above the tiles |
| Columns | How many tiles show per row — 2, 3, or 4 |
| Image ratio | The shape of each tile — adapt to image, square, portrait, or landscape |
| Overlay opacity | A dark layer over tile images so text stays readable. Leave at 0 for no overlay. Set to 20–40% when tile text needs contrast against a busy image. |
Blocks
Tile
Each tile is a block:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Image | The background image for this tile |
| Heading | The text that appears on the tile |
| Text | A short description below the heading |
| Button label | What the button says on this tile |
| Link | Where the tile takes people when clicked |
You can add up to 6 tiles.
Tips
- Use the same image shape for all tiles so the grid stays visually even. Square works well for 3 columns; landscape works well for 2.
- Keep tile headings short — one or two words per tile. The image should do most of the communicating.
