Featured blog
A teaser for your latest blog posts on the homepage (or any page) — styled as an editorial index rather than a card grid. Each post is a numbered row: a small square thumbnail, a meta line (01 · date · category), the post title, and a one-line excerpt. A "Read the journal" link below the rows leads to the full blog.
The category in the meta line is the post's first tag — tag your articles in Shopify admin and the index picks it up automatically. Untagged posts simply show the number and date.
Settings
| Setting | What it does |

| Color scheme | Which of your theme's color schemes the section uses. |
| Heading | The title above the index. Defaults to "From our blog"; leave it blank to hide it. |
| Blog | Which blog to pull posts from. When you add the section it points at your News blog; until a blog is selected the section shows a reminder to pick one. |
| Maximum posts | How many posts to show — between 2 and 4 (3 by default). |
| Show featured image | The thumbnail beside each row. Posts without a featured image simply show none. |
| Show published date | The date in each row's meta line. |
Blocks
This section does not use blocks.
Behavior notes
- The section shows the selected blog's most recent posts, numbered 01, 02, 03… in order.
- Excerpts are trimmed to about 18 words and always end on a whole word. Write a custom excerpt on the article in Shopify admin to control exactly what shows; otherwise the section uses the start of the post body, with any formatting stripped.
- The "Read the journal" link points at the selected blog's own listing page.
