How do I change my store's colors? ​

Open your theme editor: Online Store > Themes > Customize > Theme settings > Colors. You'll see four color schemes. Click any one to edit individual colors — background, text, buttons, and accents. Changes show up everywhere that scheme is used.

Click a dot to switch schemes. Click the pencil icon to edit colors.

How do I add a section to my homepage? ​

  1. Open the theme editor and make sure you're on the Home page template.
  2. Click Add section in the left sidebar.
  3. Pick the section you want.
  4. Configure its settings and hit Save.

You can drag sections up and down to reorder them. For more detail, see Homepage.

How do I switch presets? ​

Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize > Theme settings and select a different preset. Only your colors and fonts change — products, pages, menus, and section content all stay exactly where they are.

Does Uisce work on mobile? ​

Yes. Every section, layout, and feature is fully responsive. Your store adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops automatically. You can preview the mobile layout in the editor by clicking the device icons at the top of the screen.

How do I turn on dark mode? ​

You don't have to — it works out of the box. Dark mode activates automatically based on your visitor's system setting. There's also a manual toggle in the header.

How many languages does Uisce support? ​

Does Uisce support right-to-left (RTL) languages? ​

Yes. RTL layout turns on automatically for Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Urdu. The entire layout mirrors — text direction, navigation, sidebar position, drawer sides. You don't need to configure anything.

Can I add my own CSS? ​

Yes. There's a global custom CSS field in Theme settings > Custom CSS. Many sections also have their own per-section CSS fields for targeted changes.

How do I update the theme? ​

When an update is available, you'll see a notification in Online Store > Themes. Click Update to install it. Your customizations — content, color changes, custom CSS — are preserved. We recommend previewing the update before publishing it to your live store.
